ND Tax Measure Approved Despite Possible Fraud
A ballot measure to cut North Dakota's income taxes has been approved for the November ballot despite possible petition fraud. Secretary of State Al Jaeger and Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem say one of the petition's circulators wrote down names of people who did not sign the petition. The questioned names included at least one man who died two years ago.
